My Monster Secret had a kind of doofy premise, too, but it eventually became one of my favorite (then) currently-running manga on the strength of Eiji Masuda's writing. I'm looking forward to what he does with this one.

He does pull some amazing turns of directions with the plot, catching reader with their pants down to do a joke. I'm not sure if I'd be interested in reading about a manga school. I'm sure it will be funny though.
