. The group started out with four members, with two of the four members — Keiko Kubota and Wakana Ootaki — having previously worked with Kajiura under her FictionJunction project. Maya Toyoshima left the group in 2009.

They actually started off with two. Then went to four, then three, and now two (different) again. Kalafina was done when Yuki Kajiura left, though. The composer is like 80% of a group like this, honestly.

Yeah I think this was always on the cards when Yuki Kajiura left the agency. Maybe the departing members will meet up with her again in the future.

I wonder if each of the members are under different management.

Awesome, hopefully it gets a subtitled release at some point.

Aw damn, that makes me sad. :'( Keiko had an elegance to her that I'll miss from Kalafina. If they continue. Honestly I wonder if Wakana and Hikaru will continue under the name Kalafina and find a replacement, or if that's it.
But regardless, I wish everyone the best! You can only move forward, after all!
