Its pretty much confirmed that they're going to adapt the rest of the manga for 12 episodes.

It's a split cour series, it could be 13.

It's a split-cour. there's no other way than 1-cour, one season pause, 1-cour when its a split-cour (unless its 2-cour/pause/2-cour)
I said 12 episodes but it could be 13... but thats the best you can expect.
