Well, that's nothing serious value for sure — we already have one of the former Production I.G. studios which are now running as WIT Studio under the IG Port and former Sunrise studios acting as Bandai Namco Pictures. Just a little change in the nameplate.

Wait...CloverWorks will work on Fairy Tail? Would A-1 really give up a big series like that?

They aren't, it's a mistake by ANN. There's no mention of CloverWorks on the staff/cast page on the ft website.

Interesting. Maybe it's a co-production.

It's already a co-production between A-1 pictures and Bridge like the last series. They are most likely just doing work assistance.

And on the official TV Tokyo website, although it still lists A-1 and CW together.

Will Fairy Tail’s affiliation with Aniplex threaten Funimation’s license of it?

No, the international licensor for each Fairy Tail series is the manga publisher, Kodansha, so nothing has changed in that area from before.

Same thing goes for Ace Attorney since YTV is the licensor and Crunchyroll is the licensee in that case.

CloverWorks stated regarding the separation, "Each studio would like to make a contribution by creating good production with original production system and characteristics for a developing animation market in the future."

OK, I am not understanding why It goes from having Aniplex as its corporate grandparent to having Aniplex as its corporate parent.
