At first I thought it wasn't typo, that there actually exists 'monogateri', some spinoff or something of monogatari

No, it's a countdown on the already existing official website. It's probably going to be a reveal for the next anime.

Sorry, I wrote on wikipedia that it "later aired on TV as six episodes". I tought that that it will air soon. It did not air yet. I corrected it. So, this countdown is probably about when it will air on TV.

No, it's a countdown on the already existing official website. It's probably going to be a reveal for the next anime. |
I see. I think. The article didn't really have any information as to why anyone should care that they had a countdown clock running, apparently for no reason.

Generally the case. Countdown clocks are just to build up to a reveal, but because it's build up, rather than a reveal itself, they don't give anything away.
