I thought for a moment that the interviewer would say: "SAY! SAY THAT THIS ANIME WAS ONLY CREATED THANKS TO THE INFLUENCE OF WESTERN FANS AND THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HAVE WITH THE JAPANESE. SAY THIS OR YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS PLACE! SAY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
But jokes on the side, good interview and interesting comments from the director, honestly I found the anime so far quite "without impact". For me, it will be extremely difficult to come up with some racing anime that can at least reach half the level of Redline.

Nowadays, it is somewhat amusing to see the optimism of foreign authors about the United States, while the Americans themselves are confident that they live in one of the most undemocratic periods in their history. What then to say about the roaring 20s?
@Changeman Personally, it seemed to me rather that the interviewer really wanted to make this interview political, since the anime is clearly international. However, everything was not as bad as I thought.

Me,I hope this anime comes out soon. I'd love to see it. I think I might enjoy it.
