I think this is the second series I’ve seen lately to be announced to be ending shortly after an anime adaptation was produced with Demon Slayer recently having been announced that it’s ending soon as well.

A bunch of popular LN are gonna end this year and the next one, while i won't have to bid them farewell soon due to their localization being years behind it's still sad news.

So soon? I thought the LNs were still only about halfway through the WN content.

I thought that the light novels had already adapted everything because the web novel was not so long and there are others that are very long and ended earlier like elf kuishinbo and tilea worries with just 2 volumes

So, the news are about the Light Novel and the cover there is from the manga, that doesn't really make sense at all.

actually Demon Slayer creator already announce its final arc before the anime aired.

The LN added a lot of thing like extra world building and character developments.

Well, hopefully it won't be a 'Bad End' bad ending, or a tragedy like that Japanese movie 'Ran'

Not really. The final arc starts at 18 and we have no idea how many books it's gonna run through. If it's anything like the web novel that's easily 4 books, at least 3. so it would need 6 seasons to adapt the whole thing most likely.
