I'm of two minds about this already just from what information the article presents. On one side, there's the feeling of "Isn't this story dead yet? Hasn't it been told from beginning to end already? What more is there to say? We know how it happened."
On the other side, there's the thought of "Oooo, you mean there's more of the once game-changing horror franchise that terrified my twin to the point she climbed a chair? How's it gonna go down this time? Should I give it a chance?"
At this point, it's really a die roll to see which side will win. I may have to find more information before I can make a definitive choice, but I am glad ANN had the heads-up anyway.

Maybe this will be better than the movies. Hard to tell with a 2 minute clip.
I'd give it a chance.

The acting is the most terrifying about this.

Okaaaaay, saw the first episode earlier, and while the first half of it was nicely tense, the second half was just plain tragic. If mothers blaming their daughters for something that wasn't their fault, and then students setting up that daughter for a repeat of that something upsets you, please don't watch this. Those things were more horrifying than the appearance by [spoiler], and it deeply saddened me.
