I am shocked but pleased to hear this news. I would love if they'd put the OVA side-story that leads into this as a home video extra. That has been available for a while on Crunchyroll. Also, I'm hoping all this gets a dub like the TV series.
Now...if only the sequel to Gargantia would get a video release instead of just a streaming release.
