Read the first two volumes and must say, I'm never not entertained but it can be dry as a Death Valley bone.

I LOVE this manga for how randomly bizarre it can get that I can never predict what's going to happen next--it doesn't feel often that I get to read something like that.

I like how Oku has stuck to the 10 volume approach he started with Inuyashiki. This way, we get more works by Oku. I haven't read it yet, since I was waiting for the ending announcement.

I'm really liking how Oku exploring interesting stories in a 'short' format (Inuyashiki being his last). I'm wondering if Gantz's popularity/longevity has made him rethink how to tell stories in a more compact way so that he can get as many out there as he can.
