I still can't believe there's gonna be new Hakuoki anime content. So glad they got Aiko Yoshioka back for the opening.

Kuwashima Houko, too.
I watched the first Hakuoki after her stellar performance as Shurrei in Saiunkoku Monogatari and was disappointed with the role she plays here. Never really got into it on later tries either.

Yeah Chizuru is a garbage character and it's best to ignore her for as much as possible lol. The second season gets a lot better focusing on the individual guys's drama but it's completely understandable if Chizuru turns you off.
