It looks like they run a Japanese Sweets shop? I'm kind of curious what kind of vibe they're going for other than "cute girls."

The singular male character looks nothing like a typical male insert, nor does anything imply that the girls are dependant on him aside from him managing the cafe. At this point I have a feeling you're bothered by males existing in girl centered anime altogether.
