That's six weeks of delays just to get to episode 6 (of 8). Maybe ENGI took on too many productions at once.

Still doesn't make it even less of a mess, especially with how many years it took in the production hell only to give up to the dirtiest sweatshop of Kadokawa.

And it's a weird show...
The mostly-breezy tone of the first season goes out the window, while it doubles down on the grimdark notes from the second half of the movie. Between that and the overt parallels drawn with real history, it's not particularly comfortable viewing. I haven't hated it so far (though I wouldn't say I like it either), but I'm not really sure who the audience for it is.
