They also announced that they'll be streaming Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru shorty after that announcement.

I’m surprised it took them long to announce that one I thought it was a pretty much a given since it’s also Aniplex.

I think CR is trying to try keep people engaged but ironically there was no press release or news article, just a note about it riiiiiiight at the bottom of their new seasonal shows notice.
Cr DE has a news article on Yamada-kun.

On a side note, it's also a given that Sony has added a Crunchyroll button to the remotes for their current line of Bravia TVs (their acquisition of Funimation back in 2017 was actually what got me into their electronics in the first place).
