I'm surprised that they didn't announce an actor for Mamoru yet.
There are a few other characters spoiler[(the members of the junior high school Robotics Club)] about whom I'm quite interested to find out who will be cast in their roles but they probably won't appear until around the end of the first cour, if the first cour even gets to them. |

The character designs for this series are so retro! The art style is very reminiscent of late 90s-early 2000s anime in my opinion. Definitely a refreshing change in my opinion; I feel like a lot of anime nowadays kind of have the same kind of art style trends and it's neat to see character designs that harken back to series from two or three-ish decades ago.
