First the news of James Earl Jones... now this...
RIP Ms. Shinohara...thank you for all your wonderful work! As a longtime Sailor Jupiter fan, I hope you find tranquility in the afterlife.

Nooooo! I loved her work on Sailor Moon and other stuff I heard her in. 61 is way too young to die. May she rest in peace.

I wonder now. Who will replace her as Kaho Mizuki when the next batch of the Clear Card episodes comes out?

Rest in peace.. I know her voice quite well from sailor moon and mariya sama ga miteru..
This year is terrible for voice actors in their 60s..

Umineko fanbase lost Kyrie and Natsuhi voices in less than a month. Really can't catch a break.
Rest in peace, Shinohara-san.

Rest in peace. This last month has not been kind to voice actors.

Very sad to hear. I enjoyed her performances as Sailor Jupiter and Kushina Uzumaki.

We're losing too many legends this year.
She was Naruto's mom, Sakura Kinomoto's supportive teacher, Misako Mikoto's mom, but most of all the Sailor Guardian who embodied the ideal that you could be strong and feminine. And in each role she conveyed so much personality, strength, and love into them.
RIP Emi Shinohara.

61? That's still too young. It's a really great lose. And given that Sailor Jupiter was my favorites of the Senshis while growing up it's very heartbreaking.
Rest in peace Emi Shinohara. I pray for your family and loved ones.

RIP Ms. Shinohara. Sailor Jupiter/Makoto Kino was my ideal best friend when I was just a nerdy girl in middle school. Thank you for giving me a character that was both strong and gentle. Watching your performance as a kid helped me process my own feelings and connect with a series that changed the trajectory of my entire life.
