I would like to point out that it is highly abnormal for them to not-milk Laharl and other mainline Disgaea characters to death as paid DLC. Their absence from the list either means they are already in the game in some deep dark hidden place, or that (to the shock of the entire fanbase), they're going to leave the gate to the Netherworlds closed for this outing & maintain some level of focus & integrity on Marona & friends.
The bottom row of characters sans the two that are cameos from other games are very good and interesting choices for lore purposes, so I was impressed and continue to be impressed by NIS' decision process and restraint in putting this game together. I really hope this succeeds and helps to rejuvenate the expanded Makai Senki series, outside of just Disgaea titles. |
