That was my initial reaction. The Epyon and Wing Zero proportions in-game seem a little "off" though. It's funny, that trailer actually legit made me think for a literal, brief half-second "Gosh, would it be worth giving Overwatch a try!?" Not for $60. To be fair, I think that's everything in one big $60 bundle - there any way to buy individual elements cheaper? At the same time, if you don't main the characters that use those costumes, this crossover is gonna be useless to you. It's one hell of a fascinating reality to figure that not only did Bandai miss the bus with Gundam Evolution, most sane people have already moved on to Marvel Rivals now. Meanwhile, know what I'd instantly drop $60 on no questions asked? A Dynasty Warriors Gundam 1/2/3/R port for PC. |

Wait... who decided which character get which mech skin? None of them match up.
Deathscythe, who use a scythe (I know shocking) and turn invisible, is the guy with shootgun (how about Genji or Sombra) The wing, who's best known for shooting giant laser, is a healer (how about Pharah?). Tallgeese, with a giant bazooka and the knight aesthetic, is the guy with a rifle (how about Reihnhart or Ashe) The Epyon, giant sword/whip and vague dragon look, is the guy who punch thing (how Genji or Roadhog). |

One of the overwhelming comments on this collab is that Pharah is RIGHT THERE. She was made for this type of collaboration, and yet she once again got looked over for a new skin, while Mercy got her gazillionth skin.
The voice lines don't match the mood of the suit/character... I just... I am a self-professed Gundamaniac and even I can't justify myself dropping $60 on this collab. Not least for the fact that these are characters I do not use on a consistent basis. |
