I didn't know about a Let's Play VN let alone one that involved mixing dating sim and card games, but props for originality.

Are the pictures in the article from the anime? They don't look anything like Mongie's character designs in the original Webtoon version. I know that's Sam only because of her glasses, and I assume the blond is Charles, but the brunette who looks like a girl is supposed to be...Marshall?? They're practically unrecognizable to me. I'll probably still watch the series if it becomes available, but it's going to take some serious getting used to.

This is probably going to be the same reaction for all OEL manga artists in the US that are hoping to see their works being adapted into anime, I mean I'm not only talking about Let's Play and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off! But any OEL manga from 2000's and early 2010's could have their chance/shot to get adapted into an anime in the near future (one hopes). |
