I wish Hiroshi Miyamoto's work was more readily accessible to people. The visual spectacle of All Stars Memories speaks for itself and I understand why it's what they chose to put up on the big screen when talking about this project, but as maybe the world's biggest Dream Stars fan I would like to note it also has some really fun ways it mixes 2D with 3D that might inform some of the techniques that'll be deployed here. Oh and the GoPri movie also exists I guess (though the 3D segment of that was the shining spot of it)
But I'm glad Miyamoto is getting this kind of opportunity, and I hope it goes better for him than Lord of the Rings went for Kamiyama

Very interesting, especially the writer, and Kojima dropped the O.D. trailer right before Silent Hill f releases. The old man still got it.

Still can't believe we're getting a Death Stranding anime movie.
The CG looks pretty good! Even with the obvious anime brawling. [/list]

Eh? Can't say i'm impressed by the style...
Looks disappointing even for an artsy short.
Death Stranding works with realism, so a more standard 2D style in the vein of Production IG's Oshi films would be better, considering he's in the game.
But they are probably trying to make this on a smaller budget.
