Only half true. There are new story pages in the 1st game, which I consider the 2nd best part of these 2 games. The real best part is the music, which after much critical thinking I've determine this the best music of all the mainline Mario games (sorry Odyssey but it has the better stage music).

I'm tempted to get this used later down the line but Nintendo bricking consoles for people who bought used only to find out someone copied the game and sold the game back just leaves me hopeless getting some "maybe" games for cheap. This is mostly why I play on PC.

Just one question: Does the game support HDR?

As far as I could tell, HDR is not supported.

^Dang that's the one feature I prefer on the Switch 2 compared to 4K and 120hrz.

I'll back that and think that honestly Nintendo knows it too. There's a reason why they put Gusty Garden Galaxy at the very start of the credits of the Mario movie.

it still feels a bit stingy to sell this bundle at a full $60

This would be generous for Nintendo

MSRP is $70 ($69.99) in the US for the bundle. They're $40 each if you want to buy them individually from the eshop.

Is it worth it to buy this release if you already own OG Mario Galaxy through the All Stars bundle but don't have SMG2?

I heard the motion controls are way better and the textures are fully redone at 4k rather than upscaled like in SMAS. I believe I also heard there's slightly more in the story book also but I don't kow how much.

So if either of those technical things bothered in the SMAS or if you always want the most up to date version of the game it could be worth it, but if you played the original and none of that stuff bothered you then there probably isn't enough new stuff to be reason to buy it unless you really want to see the extra pages.
