Faster than I expected, considering a second season didn't get the announcement at the end of the final episode. Looking forward to more of Beryl's escapades.

I remember all those manga readers getting so disappointed with the anime adaptation. Since they expected extraordinary fight scenes with Beryl's monologue on how the fight scenes are played out. But they instead got a slow life of an old man taking care of a kid in a house. The manga story's direction made it more complicated adding more exclusive characters in the mix. That the readers think its much more above than the light novel.

Entitled manga fans don't own the copyright to the manga adaptation and nor does square enix. They can complain all they want, won't stop me from enjoying the light novel adaptation season two.
