Slight correction: Nihon Goraku Bussan used "Service Games" to sell in Japan, when they merged with "Rosen Enterprises" they became "Sega Enterprises" as a combination of the names. As far as I know "Sega" was never used before the merger.

Before the merger/acquisition, Nihon Goraku Bussan used the Sega name for the Sega 1000 jukebox in 1962: https://x.com/SEGA_OFFICIAL/status/1430783317884944385 https://www.sega.jp/history/arcade/topics/5962/index.html |

I had no idea the co-founder was still alive. That's a good age, 95.

I remember first hearing Mr. Rosen's story in Next Generation magazine thirty years ago. When I saw a headline elsewhere that said something like, "David Rosen Dead At 95," I sort of surprised myself in that I immediately knew exactly who it was referring to. Wishing all the best to his family and the many he impacted during his lifetime.
