Sounds like it's a great Suda51 experience for the story and presentation and less the gameplay. [/list]

That's pretty much the original No More Heroes to the letter. For a series that started on Wii and got a trilogy, the original was a fairly bread & butter hack'n slash when the gameplay kicked in. It was all of the weird side stuff and the insane presentation that made it memorable to any measure. I'd have to imagine that if the same game had released on the WiiU and not the Wii, they'd have missed the timing that gave it its playerbase originally.

I barely hear anyone talk these days about the second and third games.

Will be interesting to see if Romeo makes any sort of a splash more than NMH3 did.

Lollipop Chainsaw and Shadows of the Damned are both games I borrowed from friends, not expecting much, and then later bought because I had such a good time.

They look great and sound great, of course, but I also found the simple gameplay to be something of an upside. I'm not quite sure how to put it...reminds me most of like, a third party title on Super Nintendo whose gameplay isn't revolutionary by any means, but just lands in a way that it's easy to pick up and put down and pick up again.

So what I'm hearing here is all good news. I think I'll actually go for it on launch this time and support Grasshopper properly.

Glad to hear that the soundtrack rocks; I was sucked into this game the moment the trailers started blaring "I'M A DEADMAN~!" at full blast. I wanna play this game so badly Anime hyper

Exactly! If you're looking for that signature Suda51 vibe and are okay with simpler gameplay like how No More Heroes or Lollipop Chainsaw played out you'll definitely ! appreciate what Romeo is a Dead Man brings to the table Very Happy
if you enjoy that kind of unique, stylized experience, you might also like exploring amatic online casino it has a creative edge with classic themes mixed with modern twists, kind of like how indie games reimagine old-school genres. It’s a refreshing break when you want a similar mix of nostalgia and innovation.
