Well, that's a nice surprise to start my day. I wasn't blown away by the second season, but I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. Seems a lot more things are getting sequels now.

LOL WoW. I remember back when s2 aired that was already an unexpiated surprise and thinking we were lucky to get a s2. Now another 4-5 years later we are getting a s3

Exactly how tough? i thought s2 already deviated from the light novel source with it's own original ending and now this? Im curious to see where it goes.

This is great news! I wasn't sure if it'd ever happen, but I'm glad to see Diablo and the gang will be back for another round. Smile

The ending of Season 2 did deviate by moving a certain creature from a later volume to appear earlier in the story so it could have a "climactic final battle". It also failed to introduce a certain group of characters.

But honestly, it should still be possible to broadly transition into Season 3, adapting the Demon Overlord arc, without too much trouble, since that's still before the arc they moved the creature from, and the characters whose introductions were skipped aren't present during this arc at all.

It would be nice if this portends a return of the novels, which have left us hanging for years now.

Still, I'll take what I can get. Looking forward to the new season.

Not sure how I feel about this. The second season was very disappointing and lacked much of the charm that made the first season watchable. Here's hoping they'll improve upon things in the third.

2nd season animation looked really bad compared to S1 which I remember fondly, didn't even watch more than one episode of it. meh

How Not To Summon a Demon Lord was one of my more favorite Isekai anime, season 2 was already a pleasant surprise but I didn’t think we’d ever get a third season so I am all for this actually coming back.

This announcement made me realize I actually hadn't got to watch the second season.

This is indeed, great news for us fans. Especially for those of us hoping for the light novels to be continued, and for Amazon to stop banning the manga.
