Yeah, Klutzy Class and Farming Life, which sit at 22 and 23 in the Cumulative, both jumping up 16 slots to 8 and 9 in the Dailies doesn't look sus at all. Must've both had spectacular fourth episodes!

Klutzy Class is essentially a Kaguya-sama reunion so I'm not surprised. Alexis Tipton even shared my post about the series on Twitter.

Of course! That explains why it took four episodes for the masses to catch on to its greatness! And Farming somehow just hitched its wagon to the rising star. It all makes sense now.

TBH, Klutzy Class Ep4 was probably the funniest episode of anime I've seen released in 2026 so far, or at least on par with best efforts of WataNare specials and Tamon-kun B-Side. So, even if the jump raises an eyebrow, I can't say it's undeserved.
Speaking of other rankings, Awajima not being near the top shows how unserious this whole thing is, people do be voting for hype and aura exclusively. Its Ep3 is, like, strong contender for EOTY, absolute f**cking cinema.

I'll take your word for it that Klutzy Class had a good episode. That's not hard to buy. It's those two very different shows leaping together by the same amount the same week that's raising my eyebrow.
I totally am down with the "for entertainment purposes only" approach to this, so it's not like I'm taking this seriously (if I were I'd be more adamant and less snarky about it ). I mean how can I when I see people trying to rate postponed episodes that haven't aired yet? Even though those votes do get weeded out, people are nevertheless still rating episodes they can't have seen. So when I see stuff like this week when two shows hanging out together in the middle of the pack suddenly vault into the top ten, it's hard not to think something's up. If only one of those series had jumped 16 slots, my question would've been, "wow, wonder what happened in that episode?" if I even gave it a second thought. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, and also it's not unusual to see some episodes with scores below 1.5 mere minutes after the release, so some people just do weird things either for the lulz or for score manipulation. Also how many people even vote in those, I wouldn't expect too high of a number, so it certainly is succeptible to randomness as well. Although cumulative rankings by the end of the season usually look somewhat representative of how people actually perceive given set of seasonals.

Huh, that Marriage Toxin drop was pretty deep. To me the episode was as good as all others, but I guess people just really dislike the Sound Master being that kind of insufferable.

Yeah, but that's not so much worse than its 7 point drop the previous week. A 17 point slide over two weeks tells me that people either aren't happy with how it's playing out from what they expected, or they gave it a chance and decided it's just not for them. I expect it might reverse course if/when those people drop the series (assuming they also stop rating it ).
