Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this series. I thought Liden was good at animating characters when watching Arslan but here almost every character has the same body and the fight coreographies are kinda weak despite being only handtohand combat. There is also the fact that Tojima is barely a character in his own series who barely goes through any arc after episode 1. You can remove half of the anime, add Tojima's role in the finale and you don't miss anything about the guy. Same with the comedy. Ichiyo works as the comic relief but they keep repeating him as punch magnet so many times it loses its charm.

I recently watched this and loved it. I was hooked from the reveal at the end of episode 2.
Even without having ever watched Kamen Rider (and only really knowing of it rather than any details), I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it. The soundtrack was amazing too =)
I hope we get more in the future

Overall, I liked this one a lot. Maybe it's because I can relate to Tojima pretty heavily. It definitely knows how to find hype moments to keep you invested. And the music is spot on.
The main downside, I'd say, is that it can stretch things a bit. A tournament arc that is ostensibly about getting stronger to fight a Shocker Monster, only to lead into a training arc after finding out they still weren't strong enough. It can feel a bit like padding.
