Just finished the anime, loved it, want to continue it. Basically I'm curious as to where I should jump into it chapter wise to continue where the anime left off, and also, does the manga have more stuff about their tour in America? Is there anything else I missed not in the anime that was in the manga? Thanks in advance

The manga hasn't passed the anime in the states yet. Although, I'd recommend reading the manga from the beginning anyway. The anime is a very faithful adaptation of the manga, but the manga has a charm all its own. Plus, you get to see the series as originally intended by the artist. Exaggerated facial expressions and all.... <3

Thanks for responding fast, but I'm confused what you mean by this. Do you mean it continues their careers in Japan and leaves the tour aside? I'm more curious as to if the slideshow we saw was all it also got of their tour or if it was more thorough.

Far as a full reading is concerned, maybe, but I'd like to know where I need to hop in regardless from where I am left off.

The manga is over 20 volumes long. I think it's 25 volumes long. Although I haven't read it all because I'm reading it with the American release, I think the anime ends at about volume 8 or 9 in terms of the manga. What I mean is that the story continues on in the manga, far past where the anime ends. I don't know which chapter to start at, but I'd recommend starting from the beginning. Like I said the manga has a charm all its own and I think it should be experienced from the beginning as the author intended, despite the faithfully adapted anime.

It's been a while since I looked at Beck both versions. I read the manga (up to a bit past the American Tour part) first, then saw the anime. It was fairly faithful overall to the manga, but there's little pieces of information that while the anime doesn't completely skip, it glosses over. For where the anime stops, those parts arn't that important, but they are for the continuation of the story.

So I would definately reccommend reading the manga from the beginning, but if you don't want to do that, you do want to start reading the manga where the American Tour arc starts. It shows the tour in much greater detail then the anime did, and sets up some plot points. I don't remember which volume it starts on, but I'm fairly sure it hasn't come out in the US yet. I picked up all of them available here recently but haven't had a chance to go through them. I believe it's around halfway through what's available now, but I'd have to double check.

I've been buying the American releases faithfully. The last volume release was vol 7... and it ended withspoiler[The guy coming to steal Lucille back from Ryuusuke, they also have a deal in America and are trying to set up a tour.] If I remember correctly, that's near the end of the anime (although it's been a while since I watched the anime), so I think it's somewhere in volume 9 where the Tour starts.

snap, it's been a while. I'm pretty sure the American tour stars with volume 12. It lasts about 10 volumes. Ryusuke missing for most of it but then they find him before the last few spots on the tour.
