Makes me wonder why they just didn't do a redesign like they did with their other handhelds like GBA and DS. Looks very clunky and unnecessary. I hope they work on a redesign if that peripheral becomes the standard control for future games.

You aren't the only one complaining, I myself and a lot of other people are complaining about it too. Sites like IGN, Kotaku are complaining and criticizing Nintendo for this slidepad. *facepalm* Nintendo, what were you thinking when you did this.
