I was just auditing genres/themes, and two genres came up to audit for Licca-chan no Nichiyōbi that don't appear on the anime's page. I thought the genres and themes that it would give you to audit were supposed to only be the ones that are currently on the anime's page. The genres "drama" and "magic" came up to audit, but "adventure" is the only genre that shows up on the anime page. Is there a situation where that should happen, or is something not working right?

Because those two genre were marked as "improbable" i.e. not quite sure if it was "false" per se but just didn't look quite right. Since it's virtually impossible for editors to verify subjective submissions like genre by watching/reading each and every title, the purpose of auditing is for users to help editors in that aspect.

This one is a special case, however, that the submitter of those two genres was identified as an intentional Encyclopedia spammer who entered tons of made-up info. When it is too time-consuming to manually remove made-up info one by one, all submission of a spammer would be marked as "improbable" with a single click (after multiple warnings via PM, of course). Among them, however, might contain probable information, such as genres in this case. Auditing could also setting those back to be shown, should those were legitimate genres.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that there was a setting that would hide genres and themes without totally removing them.

Anyway, in the case of Licca-chan no Nichiyōbi, adventure and magic are definitely incorrect genres, while I'm not so sure on drama (it's kind of a judgement call whether it is drama or slice of life). I'm guessing someone who hadn't seen this OAV added the adventure genre because the previous Licca-chan OAVs were adventures.

With the exception of several very special occasions, the Encyclopedia records every submission. Almost all incorrect submissions were simply hidden, not deleted.

"Nichiyōbi" literally means "Sunday," so I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a "vacation" for the protagonist(s).

Hmm, looks like the relationship tree of those Licca-chan titles needs some trimming. Confused

I already knew exactly who you were talking about.
I did at one point start to go through changing his theme and genre submissions to "probable" but there was a lot of it.......
