They may have explained this but I have to ask because I don't know. Why didn't they get the second movie as well for this set?

They probably had to negotiate for it seperately, and each time they do these negotiations is a serious pain in the rear, not to mention time-consuming to track down the appropriate parties and then agree on a price if they'll even agree to allowing the license in the first place. This is the reason why, a lot times, stuff added to the series (like added episodes or movies) gets left off US releases.

Touche it just means I have to hunt down an out of print DVD for now to hold me till FUNi eventually gets it.
