edison chen? i think they should have went w/ nicholas tse, but maybe he's too pricey. good thing this is a chinese film because i don't think tsui hark is a very good american film director. even though it was a american film, he directed one of the worst films i have ever seen, double team, starring jean claude van damme and dennis rodman.

Nicholas Tse's too pretty for Takumi. (He would do a decent job as his gf though...) Tsui Hark isn't very good, period. His movies are often hit-and-miss. It's just he's had more hits up until recently, that people didn't notice. Anyway, hopefully, he won't chuck the job like he did with the live-action Lupin and Gigantor.
