I'm wondering what that bar linked to the Left Trigger is... that's the only major visible difference I can see as opposed to the last game. Unless I'm just not remembering it.

It's a meter for Substitution Jutsus. Substitution Jutsus aren't relevant to how much chakra you have anymore. From what I recall, the way to build up your sub meter is to successfully pull off melee combos. No more sub spamming and actual fighting involved this time around.

I still don't get why everyone likes side scoll 3d fighters :\
They all seem the same to me, meaning that a lot of them have the same basic moves; A,A,B, back circle, back circle, X... etc. To me it's more of the same. SF type fighting game with just new characters and moves. Not that interesting in my eyes
