Yup, I knew as soon as I saw the pictures that this movie has the exact same character designer, Masatsugu Arakawa, as the Windy Tales TV series.
Control/Option F-ing Arakawa's encyclopedia entry for "Character Design", it would seem that Toritsukare Otoko is the first anime production since Windy Tales, which aired twenty-one years ago, to have used Arakawa as a character designer, which astonishes me. |
