that puts me a little bit more at ease given how slow the anime for Saki has been moving. They've been dragging the tournament out for quite a while now because of catching up to the manga material.

Wow, Nodame's finally gonna end. I'll be sad to see the end, it's one of my favourites, but I'm glad there's only 20 odd volumes to buy!

I'm also glad to see Nodame come to an end and happy that it will be around the same time as the anime and live action, which hopefully means they will be able to end the same way (or similarly enough, at least).

Okay, not that that's out of my system... I'm looking forward to new live action shows, as Ueno Juri is so fantastic as Nodame. The chances of those shows coming to America are slim-to-none, but I'd love it if they did. Sure, the anime is nice, but come on, Ueno Juri! And once the manga ends... then I'm likely to settle down to buying it. |
