Guess it's important to add limited editions to normal editions.

TWGOK for example has 132k total sales.

I'm actually kind of surprised at To Love-Ru Trouble--Darkness is so popular, considering that the manga at times is really pushing the boundaries of shounen manga (this series is published in Shueisha's Jump Square anthology).

You must have never read Japanese shonen manga magazine then.

Don't forget that series like City Hunter, Fist of North Star were all Weekly JUMP title.

While Weekly JUMP has since toned down a bit evident by Jojo being moved to seinen magazine, there are still of sex and violence around other shonen magazines

As long as they don't specifically emphasis the cherries, or change the direction of the series to RitoxMikan plot, they are fine...

There are plenty other series like that, it's more of a norm than rarity.

Rosario + Vampire, World's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Kurohime are all Shonen titles as well.
