Idea Factory's Mr. Osomatsu Game Listed for PS Vita With 6 Special Editions, Drama CD

Amazon began listing a PlayStation Vita game tentatively titled Osomatsu-san The Game on Thursday, with Idea Factory as the developer. Idea Factory previously announced in January that its Otomate brand — which develops otome romance simulation games intended for female players — is developing a video game based on the Mr. Osomatsu anime.

The game's standard edition is priced at 6,804 yen (about US$62), while the game's special pack editions are priced at 13,284 yen (US$122). The special pack includes a B3-size cloth poster, an illustration booklet, four acrylic key chains, four tin key chains, and a mini-tote bag. The special pack edition comes in six versions, corresponding to each of the six Matsuno brothers in the anime, and the designs of the cover illustration, key chains, and tote bag are themed after the brother featured in the design. Both the game's standard edition and special pack editions come bundled with a drama CD.

Another "limited edition" version comes with a B3-size cloth poster, an illustration booklet, wallpapers for the PS Vita and PC, and the drama CD, and that version retails for 8,964 yen (US$82).

The game is listed with a January 26, 2017 release date, but Amazon also states that "the release date is unfixed" in the listing title for the game. Idea Factory has not provided an official release date.

The Mr. Osomatsu anime series premiered last October. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
