Earth Defense Force 5 Game Listed With Steam Release This Month

Steam is currently listing that D3 Publisher will release the Earth Defense Force 5 game on the platform this month.
D3 Publisher describes the game:
Earth Defense Force 5 finds players taking up arms to defend Earth against a hostile alien invasion. In addition to hordes of alien insect invaders the series is famous for, the next installment in the fan favorite franchise also introduces a series-first with new humanoid aliens from the mysterious planet, Primer. Join the elite ranks of the EDF for an all-out war to protect peace on Earth -- and overcome the depths of despair of a world under siege with wisdom, courage, and fellow comrades.
The game launched in Japan on the PlayStation 4 in December 2017. The game was initially slated for summer 2017 but D3 Publisher delayed the game to improve its quality.
The game launched for the PS4 in the West on December 11.
