Trivia:

ADV Films paid $325,000 to license the series in 2006.

Ludmila Schindler in episode 1 is most likely based on the character Rosa Klebb from the James Bond movie, From Russia With Love.

As seen in episode 1, Agent 009-3 has connectors on the back of her neck that she can use to download and upload information. These connectors are very similar to the one's used in the Ghost in the Shell franchise.

The android in episode 5 is most likely based off of Crystal Boy, the arch nemesis of Cobra from Space Adventure Cobra. Both characters are golden skeletons surrounded by a glass-like body that is resistant to laser guns.

The space ship 009-1 took to the Moon in episode 12 and the toy her brother had in episode 8 are both clearly based on the Eagle Transporter from the American TV series "Space: 1999" from the 1970's.

In episode 12, "Daybreak", two astronauts use parachutes to safely land on the Moon after escaping their spacecraft. It should be common knowledge that parachutes would not work on the Moon.
