'Mashiro-hime''s past is similar to that of Tate's from the Mai-HiME manga. Both of them went to an all-boys school prior to the transfer, and both of them say similar things at the opening of the manga ("Starting today, I'll be living in this city! Furthermore...")

The waitress uniform that Arika wears at one of her part-time jobs (chapter 14) is identical to the uniform that Mai Tokiha (from Mai-HiME) wears as a waitress at the Lindenbaum resteraunt.
