Daily Video: Platina Jazz Group Covers Anime Themes

Jazz band performs themes from Gundam Seed, Kiteretsu Daihyakka

In the above video, the band Platina Jazz performs an English-language jazz version of "Hajimete no Chū," a song by Anshin Papa which served as the fourth opening and sixth ending of the 1988 television anime Kiteretsu Daihyakka. The anime was based on a manga by Doraemon creator Fujiko F. Fujio.

The Platina Jazz's YouTube account features multiple videos titled "Anime Standards." Videos labeled "vol. 1" are rehearsals and recording sessions, while "vol. 2" videos are rehearsals as well as performances of "Hajimete no Chū" and "Akatsuki no Kuruma," from Gundam Seed, shown below.
