25 artists to perform to benefit schoolchildren recovering from earthquake

On Friday, a group of anime song artists will gather to perform an "Anison Smile" charity event to benefit the children recovering from the March 11 Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.

The event will be held at the Nakano Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo. Tickets for the event cost 3,900 yen (about US$48), and 900 yen (US$11) of the ticket price, as well as all donations collected at the event, will be given to elementary schools and boards of education in the prefectures that were hit by the earthquake and resulting tsunami.
