Drama adaptation of Noriko Kasuya's josei manga begins airing October 21
The 21st/22nd combined issue of Shueisha's YOU magazine, released on October 15, includes a special compiled version of Noriko Kasuya's Watashi wa Shadow manga. The semimonthly manga magazine originally serialized the josei manga from 2007 to 2010. Watashi wa Shadow follows Sena Asagi, a housewife who is completely devoted to supporting her husband, but becomes a detective by chance and makes a new start as a strong woman.
A live-action television drama based on Kasuya's manga will begin airing in Japan on October 21. Kyoko Fukuda (Kamikaze Girls, Tōfu Kozō, Yatterman) will star in Sengyōshufu Tentei~ Watashi wa Shadow (Housewife Detective~ I am a Shadow) as the housewife-turn-detective Sena Asagi.
