City Hunter's Ryō Saeba Underwear Offered with Magazine

The December issue of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine is bundling Ryō Saeba's "Game Underpants" on Tuesday. The underwear is a collaboration between the private eye character from Tsukasa Hōjō's City Hunter manga (and its Comic Zenon-serialized sequel Angel Heart) and the woman's lingerie retailer Peach John — although this underwear is ostensibly for men.
The concept of the bonus is "underpants that women want on men." The pink underwear (one size fits most) has an exclusive "Ryō Saeba x Peach John" tag and a repeating pattern of Ryō Saeba's signature gun, the Angel Heart manga's symbol, and Peach John's rose design. Angelica Michibata, an image character model for Peach John, posed with the underwear for a photoshoot and interview in the magazine.
In addition, Comic Zenon's online store also launched on Tuesday with a limited black-and-silver edition of the underpants for 1,980 yen (about US$26). (The magazine issue with the bonus pink underpants costs 690 yen or US$9.)
The same December issue of Comic Zenon is celebrating the magazine's one-year anniversary with a life-size display figure of Fist of the North Star manga lead Kenshirō, inlaid with 500,000 Swarovski crystals worth 10 million yen (about US$130,000). The online store is giving a bonus 7-inch version of the figure to its buyers, while supplies last.
