posted on by Jennifer Sherman
"Synchrogazer," the 26th single from voice actress/singer Nana Mizuki, sold 51,017 copies during the January 9-15 week to rank #2 on Oricon's weekly sales chart. The song serves as the opening theme for the ongoing television anime series Senki Zesshō Symphogear, in which Mizuki also voices the female lead Tsubasa Kazanari.
The "Synchrogazer" single also contains "Risōron" and the "Love Brick" theme song for Fuji TV's live-action television series adaptation of Natsumi Aida's Switch Girl!! comedy manga. Mizuki is narrating the program, and "Love Brick" was her first theme song for a live-action television show.
The top single of the week was KinKi Kids' "Kawatta Katachi no Ishi" (123,475 copies).
Mizuki's "Junketsu Paradox" single, which was the ending theme song for the television anime series Blood-C, ranked #3 on Oricon's weekly sales chart in August.
