Inazuma Eleven Fans Offered Chance to Appear in Anime

The upcoming limited edition DVD and Blu-ray releases of the Inazuma Eleven GO: Kyūkyoku no Kizuna Griffon movie will include a ticket to apply for the chance to be drawn into a future episode of the upcoming Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone anime. Three randomly-chosen winners, regardless of age or sex, will be drawn into an episode that will air some time after October 2012. The home video release of the movie will go on sale on July 4, and entries will be taken until August 31. The limited Blu-ray edition will cost 6090 yen (about US$75), and the limited DVD edition will cost 5040 yen (about US$62).
Inazuma Eleven GO: Kyūkyoku no Kizuna Griffon was released in late December, and earned over US$14 million during its Japanese theatrical run. The time-traveling adventure sequel to the Inazuma Eleven TV series, Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone, will premiere on Japanese television on April 18.
