Lodoss-tō Senki: Densetsu no Keishōsha planned for Fall; other GameOn titles previewed

Online game company GameOn presented a promotional video for its Lodoss-tō Senki: Densetsu no Keishōsha (Record of Lodoss War: The Legendary Heir) online game at the "GameOn Festival 2012" on Sunday.

GameOn did not reveal more details, but it is planning to release the game this fall. GameOn announced last year that it acquired the global license to make an online game for computers and mobile phones based on the Record of Lodoss War fantasy franchise from Kadokawa Production and Slowcurve. Ryo Mizuno, the novelist and co-creator of the franchise, is serving as supervisor on the development of the online game.

GameOn's development and distribution license is worldwide, and the company intends to run the game not only in Japan, but throughout the world.

Held at Tokyo Big Sight, GameOn's festival brings together online game developers and fans to showcase new projects. Besides the Lodoss game, the festival previewed:

the World Fishing (tentative title) "online fishing role-playing game" …

the massively multi-player online role-playing game ArcheAge (tentative title) set in the European Middle Ages …

the action multi-player online role-playing game Kritika (tentative title)

the third-person-shooting/action game S4 League

… and the MMORPG Red Stone.

The festival drew approximately 3,800 attendees.
