Evangelion Celebrated with 4-Nation Stamp Rally

posted on by Ko Ransom
"Ultra-special present" for completing rally in France, U.S.A., China, Japan

The official website for the Evangelion series has announced that a stamp rally spanning three continents and four countries will be held beginning this July. In order to complete the stamp rally, fans must collect stamps of the Shinji, Rei, Asuka and Mari characters at the Tōhan booth at France's Japan Expo (July 5-8), the Evangelion Pop Up Museum at San Francisco's J-Pop Summit Festival (August 25-26), the Eva keyframe illustration exhibit at China's ICAC International Comic and Animation Convention (November 3-11), and at the Evangelion Store in Shiodome, Tokyo between July 25 and August 26.

Fans who have completed the rally will have to submit their passports in order to prove that they have personally traveled to each location, and upon confirmation, they will be given an "ultra-special present" that will be announced at a later date on the official website.

Another Evangelion stamp rally will be held to promote the upcoming release of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo that can be completed within the Tokyo area. The more local rally will award individuals who complete the event with a special sticker set.
