The Pokemon Company announced on Friday that the Pokemon Center line of Pokémon merchandise stores will begin selling a new line of "Pokemomo" goods that feature art by the illustrator Momo Okada. The line goes on sale on August 11, and includes train pass cases, stuffed animals, totebags, mirrors, combs, mugs, phone cases, and more.

Pokémon Centers throughout Japan sell a variety of Pokémon goods including games and toys as well as various Pokémon-themed products such as clothes, bedding, and dishes. The seventh and most recent Pokemon Center to open is located in Japan's quake-stricken Tohoku region. The store opened last December in Aer skyscraper, the tallest building in the Tohoku region.
