Gen Hoshino to Perform Saint Young Men Film's Theme Song

Gen Hoshino, who will play the voice of Buddha in the upcoming comedy anime movie Saint Young Men, will also preform the movie's theme song "Gag." Hoshino wrote the song for the movie.
The song will be part of the album Strangers, which will be released on May 1, and the single will be released on May 8 coupled with Hoshino's other song "Dust."
The film is an adaptation of Hikaru Nakamura's Saint Young Men comedy manga series. The story imagines if Buddha (Hoshino) and Jesus (SAKEROCK band leader Mirai Moriyama) shared a low-rent apartment in Tokyo. Noriko Takao (episode director on Clannad, K-ON!, Lucky Star) is directing at A-1 Pictures off a screenplay by Rika Nezu (live-action Kimi ni Todoke, live-action Absolute Boyfriend). The film will open in Japan on May 10.
Several trailers and key visuals for the film have already been released.
